Stop the spread with these

Member Tools

Stemming the tide of COVID-19 starts with individuals. Ohio employers can mobilize their workforce by providing them the facts they need to model safe practices in their daily lives and prepare for getting a vaccine. We’ve developed a number of tools that you can tailor to your own organization to empower and encourage employees to stop the spread.

Ohio Businesses Lead New Effort to Protect the Economy by Announcing the Coalition to Stop the Spread
About the coalition
The Coalition to Stop the Spread consists of businesses, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher learning and other Ohio organizations that recognize the threat COVID-19 presents to our health and our economy. Led by the Ohio Business Roundtable, coalition members understand that employees are on the frontlines of the fight. That’s why they are driving action among their employees by encouraging them to lead by personal example.
We have adapted to protect our employees and customers through the pandemic, but we must recommit to actions that help prevent the spread of the virus and speak boldly and bluntly about the consequences of the elevated peak of COVID-19 cases. Businesses alone cannot stop the spread, but our employees and their families, in cooperation with others, can help reduce the rapid increase in cases.
Nick Akins, Chairman, President and CEO
American Electric Power
This is not a choice between our health and a strong economy; the two are strongly connected. This virus is threatening not only lives, but also small businesses, employment opportunities and the health and safety of Ohio’s workers. An Ohioan who contracts COVID-19 cannot go to work, provide for their families or support local businesses. We ask all Ohio employers to join us in this effort
