New PSA campaign supports vaccine rollout

As the Coalition to Stop the Spread, we strive to activate every communications channel at our disposal to help us reach community immunity. The faster we accomplish this feat, the sooner we return to a semblance of normalcy within our families, workplaces and communities.  

Thanks to your incredible support, our Coalition of nearly 190 organizations is able to reach countless Ohioans with critical messages about COVID-19, safety protocols and the vaccines. We have developed and shared content through this email to members and made the materials available to the public through our website and social media. This week, we are adding a new element to our effort – a statewide digital PSA campaign titled “Moving On.” 

Beginning this week and running through May, Ohioans will start to see short video PSAs and related ads online that tap into the emotions many share about the pandemic’s impact on our daily lives and interactions with family and friends. The key message: the vaccine is the way out of this and we’re almost there.

Please take a moment to view the video, share as appropriate with your employees and on your organization’s social media. 

And while we move forward with an eye toward community immunity, our advice to Ohioans about the vaccines remains the same.  

• Get the facts about the vaccines. 
• Be patient. While you’re waiting, help others. 
• When your time comes, get the vaccine.
