COVID-19 Vaccines: Start with the Facts

In our collective fight against COVID-19, we are hearing more every day about the vaccines. We read about them in the news and discuss them with co-workers, family and friends. Many of you have reached out to the Ohio Business Roundtable and your Coalition contacts to seek guidance on how to inform and educate your workforce on the two approved vaccines. At a time when there are so many questions, we want to help members and their workforce to start with the facts. We have developed a COVID-19 Vaccine Fact Sheet, which has been uploaded to the member resource page on the Coalition’s website. We encourage you to review the information and join us in amplifying the facts so that Ohioans can make informed decisions for themselves and loved ones.

There is no question that the vaccines are our way out of the pandemic. But, we all must be patient. As of today, more than 435,000 Ohioans have received at least the first dose of the vaccine, representing more than 3.5% of our population. While there are likely months from broader availability of the vaccines, our families and our economy can still be protected today if we stay committed to our Coalition’s mission and goals – to empower our workforce to advocate for best safety practices in their daily lives.

Thank you for your continued dedication to stopping the spread in Ohio, and stay tuned for more vaccine education resources from the Coalition.
