Together we can stop the spread
Our Coalition has grown much faster than any of us could have anticipated. We now sit at just over 100 members, an incredible feat for an effort just announced two weeks ago. With the aim of empowering Ohio’s workforce to advocate for smart and safe practices in their daily lives, your organizations are essential. Thank you for all that you are doing to stop the spread.
Below are a few simple ways to get involved:
📱 Get active on social media. Below are suggested social posts and graphics for your own social channels. And be sure to follow us on Twitter at @StopTheSpreadOH.
💬 Communicate with your employees. Use the prewritten CEO letter and other templates in our member resources.
☎ Tell us what is working for your organizations. Many members are active in sharing the message and we want to hear what has been successful and what other opportunities exist.

Social media posts
Owens Community College and the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce are among the Coalition members most dedicated to taking the conversation publicly online. Owens Community College has posted photos of employees practicing good safety behaviors. The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce has leveraged some of the designed social media graphics available on the Coalition website.
Company news articles
CareSource published a news article showing top-down support with a quote from the CEO and also making it personal by connecting the narrative to their employees. The Ohio Society of CPAs also featured a quote from leadership in their news article and included very specific calls-to-action for individuals.

We have seen a few great examples already from the Ohio Restaurant Association and Ohio Citizens for the Arts, among others. The most effective mentions reference to why this is important for your organization and membership. And a recommendation to join the Coalition is always appreciated.
